Celine Dion Keeps Continuing Her Love Affair With Lebanese Labels

by emirateswoman.com/ The Canadian superstar often turns to Middle Eastern designers when it comes to her stage wardrobe… Céline Dion has been on quite a style roll recently, and we have some regional designers to thank for her most stand-out looks. First the Think Twice singer donned a glimmering, mermaidy gown by Zuhair Murad for the 2017 Grammy Awards, before taking to the stage at a Bee Gees tribute concert in a midnight-blue haute couture gown by Elie Saab.

And now, the Canadian superstar has turned to Beirut-born label Ashi Studio for her latest tour wardrobe. The Billboard Icon award-winner sported a voluminous-sleeved asymmetric top from the label during the opening night of her Celine Dion Live 2017 tour in Copenhagen. The embroidered piece was custom-made for Dion, Ashi Studio revealed on Instagram. The singer paired the piece with futuristic silver thigh-high boots and white leggings, though her best accessory, as per usual, was her beyond-impressive voice: Dion isn’t the only star turning to the Middle East for her tour pieces, either -  Adele added a gown by Zuhair Murad to her stage wardrobe earlier this year. With a sweeping off-shoulder cut not often seen on the songstress, the burgundy number came from the designer’s 2015 haute couture collection. And based on these gowns, we hope to see several more pop stars turning to this trio of Lebanese labels before the year is out…
